it's ALWAYS a special occassion

Itl’s been a while since we blogged - but are starting up again. We have had huge issues with FB so much so we do nothave any FB accounts any more, thatWE can access, so apologise if you are trying to message us there - as we can not see it. so are expanding our site and changing up how we share things.

What I want to share today though is IT”S ALWAYS A SPECIAL OCCASSIOIN

How many of us have saved thing sfor a special occassion ? Most of us I bet and certainly most of our parents.

Due to a significant family health shift we are cleaing out a home, that a soul , who we love immensely , has lived in for 51 years.Due to dementia thay are cared for and living in each moment, without any memeory of what went before , usually.

To add to the heartbreak we are packing things up that have been ‘ kept for best ‘ Wonderful things never used, stil lin their orogional boxes , tucket away , not enjoyed. Bought with love and a feeling tat the recipient would LOVE them and take pleasure in usuing them. But it never happened. Now they are in a charity shop, which is lovley as perhaps the next ‘ owner ‘ will actually use them. and it;s hopefully helping a good cause

EVERY DAY IS A SPECIAL OCCASSION. None of us know when our last moment will be That’s not depressing or maudling it is just a fact.

SO use the nice plates and glasses and cups wear those nice things, burn that cadle that is beautiful ENJOY the gifts for what they were given for. If things wear out or break so be it they wilh ave been loved they will have served their purpose, they will have ‘ fulfilled their destiny’.

PLEASE don’t leave them hidden away to be boxed up sadly to sit on another shelf until somone picks them up. again.
